8 ways to get ready for Spring
Finally! Winter is almost over and Spring is just around the corner.
The season of renewel, revival and a fresh follow-up of the year. Here are 8 ways to get ready for Spring!
#1 Get your feet ready.
Not the first thing you think about probably… but when the temperatures are rising, it’s time for open shoes and in beautiful shoes we need beautiful feet. [Here’s how to get Summer-ready feet]
#2 Clean up your room
It can be such a relieve to have your room cleaned up, smelling all fresh and new.
Throw away all the stuff you never use [or sell it] and put some nice flowers and plants in there. I’m in love with tulips especially. They really bring the Spring vibe to your room.
#3 Give your look a lift
Try a new haircut, pamper yourself with some spa at home [here’s how] or just try a new lipstick! Preferably one that’s really bright (which will also make your teeth look whiter)
#4 Look at your goals you made at the beginning of this year and then
sum up which ones you’ve already accomplished.
Didn’t accomplish enough? Ask yourself why and go for it!Don’t have a #GOALS list? Make one! Just sum up 5 goals you want to accomplish and start working on them. It doesn’t have to be big…
#5 Closet cleanup!
Go through your closet, look at the trends and see what’s still hot and what’s not. Also think about: do I still like it? Am I going to wear it? If not: throw it away and buy something new.
#6 Revamp your exercise routine
Think about the parts of your body you want to look different and focus on them.
I often hear people say:
“Ok, I want to lose weight and look more trained and fit. BUT: I don’t like to go to the gym.”
Just find something that you dó like. For example: I love to do martial arts, so I’m doing kickboxing and group-sessions called “Insanity”. It’s fun to do and very effective, so I can keep myself to it.
#7 Plan a picnic
Gather some of your friends and plan a picnic somewhere. This can be at the water, in a park.. wherever you want. All bring some treats and enjoy your time together.
#8 Book a vacay!
Or at least: start looking for one. Think about the places you want to visit, how big or small your budget is, when you want to go and who you’d like to go with.

I’m actually doing a lot of these things recently! Definitely hitting the gym, cleaning my room a few times a week, and planning some trips to europe for the summer 🙂 Thanks for sharing these useful tips!
I am trying to do a closet clean out for my family. Perfect thing to do in spring.
This dress looks even more amazing on you here than in the picture I saw on IG. I love the background in which you shot these pics too! I have been procrastinating for weeks on cleaning my room. It’s so messy, it’s borderline disgusting, haha. I’m working on it though 🙂
This dress gives such an romantic. You look lovely
Love those shoes! Uh I need a haircut so badly! My hairdresser has been unwell, I am hoping she is better soon. Poor thing. Agreed on the clean up and wardrobe revamp, it makes you feel much better! And, I have been doing a 45 min yoga session each day, for the past month or so, it makes you feel so much more alert and stretched out and calm. Highly recommended!
