Corfu is a beautiful and green Greek island

Spending my weekend away in Amsterdam. That was lovely. But this is my long vacation of this year. As you can see in the picture below, I’m enjoying a fabulous vacation on this Greek island. The days on Corfu are a bit shorter than normal. Sun is coming up on 5.00 am and is going down on 20.00 pm! So the evenings are long and lovely for eating and enjoying.
Here are a few ideas of things to see during the day:
#1 The Achillion Palace
This beautiful palace was built in 1890 exclusively for Elizabeth the Empress of Austria, also well known as Sissi. Read more about this great lady here: Sissi.

The view from the shore is breath taken. The island it self is a very small island with trees and is only two meters above the water.
These are only a small part of what there is to see in Greece, looking back at my diary posts .. I think I can say I’ve visited a lot of must-see-places this holiday!
