As you’ve probably seen on my Instagram:( You can follow me here when you didn’t already), this Tuesday and Wednesday, I was in Nijmegen for a citytrip and to try out the new Van der Valk hotel. It looked amazing and very chique.  I can’t wait to share all pictures and ins and outs with you…

On today’s pictures, you see me elegantly sipping my alcohol free berrie mania cocktail – here is the recipe by the way. Funny is, that when you go out and dón’t drink alcohol, people always assume that you’re boring. Well I can tell you something, I’m not boring when I go out. At all. Where other people are drinking to get more courage, I take my friends to the dance flour right away and we’re partying on the coolest beats. Of course, alcoholic drinks we also enjoy, but it’s not like you need it to have a good time. Therefore the non-alcoholic cocktail recipes.

The title says: bell sleeves. This has to do with the blouse I’m wearing and its bell sleeves. It’s a trend I wrote about before and again I show you how I would wear it. Casual, but also bohemian with the fish-tale braid and brown wedges (those I bought in Ibiza, don’t you love them?)

There’s a range of Bell sleeves, from small ones to… huge ones. If you want to make a fashionstatement during fashion weeks, I would die-hard wear the huge ones. It also gives the outfit a classy look, so it’s also the perfect look when you’re invited to a fancy dinner or party.

Hi Ladies & Gents,

Zoals jullie gezien hebben op mijn Instagram: (je kunt me hier volgen wanneer je dat nog niet doet), afgelopen dinsdag en woensdag was ik in Nijmegen, om het nieuwe van der Valk hotel uit te proberen! Het zag er onwijs mooi en chique uit en ik kan niet wachten om alle foto’s en ins en outs met jullie te delen!

Jullie zien mij op de foto’s heel charmant slurpend aan een berrie mania cocktail –alcholvrij, hier is het recept trouwens. Grappig is altijd, dat wanneer je uitgaat en géén alcohol neemt, mensen er meteen vanuit gaan dat je saai bent. Nou ik kan je één ding vertellen, ik ben niet saai wanneer ik uitga. Alcohol of niet. Waar andere mensen moed in staan te drinken, sleur ik mijn vriendinnen linea recta de dansvloer op en staan we keihard te feesten op de leukste beats. En natuurlijk gaat een lekker wél alcoholisch drankje er ook wel in, maar het is niet zo dat het nodig is om een leuke tijd te hebben. Vandaar ook de non-alcoholische cocktail recepten.

De titel luidt: bell sleeves (leuke woordgrap). Dit heeft te maken met de blouse die ik draag en de daarbij horende klokkende mouwen. Het is een trend waar ik eerder over schreef en opnieuw laat ik jullie nu zien hoe ik het zou dragen. Lekker casual, maar ook bohemian met de visgraatvlecht en bruine sleehakken.

Bell sleeves zijn er van klein tot… enorm. Als je een fashionstatement wilt maken tijdens de Fashion weeks, zou ik gewoon die-hard voor enorme bell sleeves gaan. Daarbij geeft het je outfit een classy uitstraling, dus ook perfect voor naar een chique diner of fancy feestje.
