♥ Sunday was definitely classy and fabulous! What I did? I’ll tell you all about it. It has something to do with a fun event, storm… and tornados (!) ♥
Classy and Fabulous – storm, events and tornados
Het was een druilerige dag, die later uitmondde in een regelrechte storm. Toen ik naar buiten keek, had ik eigenlijk geen zin om ook maar één stap buiten de deur te zetten. Maar het Paul’s Boutique event was vandaag, dus dat gaf moed! Eerst lekker gedoucht, daarna krulde ik mijn haren [herinneren jullie je deze video nog? ] deed ik mijn make-up op en trok mijn rode jurkje aan. Matchy matchy, stylede ik het geheel af met mijn Burgundy bag van Paul’s Boutique: classy and fabulous.
Ontplofte poedel
Omdat ik wist dat mijn haar eruit zou zien als een ontplofte poedel wanneer ik zo de deur uit zou gaan, deed ik een klem in mijn haar om de krullen ietwat te behouden (dit was gelukt!). Natuurlijk waren er allerlei problemen met het openbaar vervoer. Iets met omgevallen bomen op spoorwegen, je kent het wel.
Eenmaal aangekomen bij het treinstation, was het zoeken naar de locatie. Algauw kwam ik twee mede-collega-bloggers tegen [ lees hier alles over de waarheid over fashion bloggers ] en liepen we samen naar het event. Het waaide enorm hard; dozen, frietbakjes mét saus, bladeren, plastic tassen, alles zwierf als een tornado door de lucht.

Na een kwartiertje zoeken, vonden we de locatie. Bij binnenkomst kregen we een VIP-armband en werden we verwelkomd met een lekker glaasje drinken. Iedereen zag er classy and fabulous uit. Er stond een té leuke fotobooth, waar ik meerdere malen gebruik van heb gemaakt (zie links op de foto het resultaat).
Het leuke van dit soort evenementen [lees hier hoe je uitgenodigd wordt voor persdagen en events ] is dat je altijd weer leuke nieuwe mensen ontmoet. Zo ook vandaag.
Leuke muziek, gezellige sfeer
Er draaide leuke muziek, er hing een gezellige sfeer, er werden druk foto’s gemaakt en er werden interessante presentaties gehouden. Aan het einde van de middag werd de nieuwe “Blogger Bag” onthuld, die de mensen met een VIP-armbandje meekregen in hun goodiebag. Tegen het einde van de middag kreeg ik weer een énorme tas mee, vol met leuke goodies.
Na drie uur reizen (door het slechte weer), kwam ik thuis en keek ik met een vrolijk gevoel terug op deze dag.

Dit was mijn classy and fabulous zondag vorige week. Grappig feitje: ik zit op dit moment in het vliegtuig onderweg naar Londen! Deze zondag zal er dus heel anders uit zien.
