Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam | Noir Near Future
Hello Fashion Ladies & Gentlemen,
Yesterday I told you that today would be very graphic and futuristic at the Fashion Week. The title itself already gives you a futuristic unreal feeling “Noir Near Future”, but especially when you see the clothing and make-up.

With her Summer collection 2016 “Fantasies of Anxiety”, Bregje Cox, shows that a good story as inspiration, will guaranty a great final result. Her inspiration was the book “Het Begrip Angst” – “The term Fear” by Kierkegaard; Learning about love, feelings, fear and patience.
“A person only gets aware of their own potential by experiencing fear”
The models have their hair braided tight and have silver lines on their faces, wearing either black dresses or black leggings with black T-shirts, and Nude shoes that match. The word ‘Anxiety’ was printed on the outfits and backpacks, as well as a lot of graphics.
Halfway through, Bregje Cox started to change things up. The outfits became light and airy with colorful prints. Graphics that made you dazzle, mirror pieces and stripes were attached to tops and dresses, that added the fantasy effect of this summer collection at Fashion Week.
Here’s a short recap from the show:
