Flared Jeans

♥ Flared Jeans , I fell back in love with them

Last week we talked about a real musthave: the Lace Blouse. Today we’re talking about another great item to have: Flared Jeans. Flared jeans are great if you’re looking for a fashion forward twist on classic denim jeans. I already worn them when I was younger, but since I’ve been watching Rachel Zoe, I fell back in love with them again. I just love the style for being figure-flattering.

These Jeans were HOT in the seventies, but Jeans get a ’70s do-over with flares. Boot-cuts (boot-fits) and flares never entirely went away, and both of these styles remain relatively popular today. Both in denim fashion and higher-quality office wear.

They’ve had some sort of alternation, because the leg ends are less flared now and we now have them in all sorts of brands, colours, patterns, fabrics and of course.. prices. Flares (or Bell-bottoms) are a style of trousers, that become wider from the knee downwards, forming a bell-like shape of the trouser leg.

The great thing about Flares, is that the top makes you look really slim and the bottom gives you length, because of the flared-effect: long legs come to mama! Especially when you wear them with a pair of high heels/pumps/boots. These jeans hit the perfect spot for chunky heels. And they are very comfortable too.

The style works well with a button-down shirt and a pair of slingbacks. Belt your flares, add a pop of color with a great jacket or handbag. That makes them even cooler!

Flares can be traced back to fashion’s greatest moments!!

What do you think of the Flared Jeans?
