(Almost) Everyone loves chocolate, and what’s better to get warmed up after a long/rainy/snowy/autumny/winter day? Hot Chocolate!

But drinking hot chocolate éveryday, isn’t that great for your diet. Although it’s proven… NOTE: PROVEN, that drinking hot chocolate after your workout is actually good for you. As it contains carbs ánd proteins, which is great after a workout #winwin.

But, everyday… not so healthy. Especially when you top it off with whipped cream, chocolate, and more sinful yumminess. So, I’m going to show you 4 Healthy HOT Chocolate Recipes, that áre healthy and totally approved for almost every day use

Recipe one

What you need:
> Unsweetened almond milk
>  Raw cocoa powder
> Dark chocolate
> Coconut sugar or agave syrup

How to:
Add the ingredients to a small saucepan and wait until it boils… Creamy yumminess is only 5 minutes away.
Next you could add a little extra, like.. vanilla to bring out the flavor of the chocolate, or peppermint to give it a little kick.
The last thing we’re going to add is…….. Coconut whipped cream.

How to:
Put some coconut cream or coconut milk in the refrigerator overnight, next day: take a mixing bowl and let it chill in the fridge for about 10 minutes.  Put the coconut cream in your mixing bowl. Mix it with a mixer, about 30 seconds, until it’s creamy. Then add some agave syrup,  and optional a bit of vanilla and mix again until it’s creamy and smooth. If it tastes right: add it to your chocomilk and you’re done 🙂

Recipe two

What you need:

> one cup, plus one/two tablespoons milk you like; almond, rice, coconut or hazelnut
> two teaspoons raw cocoa powder
> one teaspoon coconut sugar or agave syrup
> ¼ teaspoon vanilla (extract)
>A little bit of cinnamon

How to:
Put the milk in a small pan on medium low heat. Meanwhile: place some cocoa powder, sugar/sirop, and an extra tablespoon of milk in a small bowl. Mix until it’s become a thick mixture and all the powder is absorbed.

Now whisk the cocoa mixture into the milk mixture and heat untill it’s hot, but not boiling and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture into your mug and sprinkle with some cinnamon.

Recipe Three

What you need:
> Two tablespoons raw cacao powder
> Two tablespoons maca powder
> One tablespoon coconut sugar
> a tiny bit of sea salt
> A bit of cinnamon powder
> A tiny bit of cayenne pepper
> A little bit of ginger powder
> Some vanilla
> One and a half a cup of milk of your choice

How to:
Boil  your milk on the stove and then let it cool a little bit.
Whisk in the ingredients and serve right away, sprinkled with a little bit of cinnamon.

Recipe Four

This one is for 2 large cups (so you can share the love)

What you need:
>Two and a half tablespoons of raw cocoa
>Two tablespoons hemp seeds
>About one tablespoon of (raw) honey
>Two Medjool dates
> One tablespoon coconut oil
>One tablespoon vanilla powder
>And.. one tablespoon cinnamon

How to:

Add all the ingredients to your blender, on high speed.
Let 2 ½ cups of water boil, blend everything together and pour into your favorite mug.
