Let’s talk about today! Vandaag is het 5 December (“ja dat weet ik toch?”), als je in Nederland woont weet je dat het Sinterklaas is… Het gezellige feest voor kleine kinderen, met cadeautjes , surprises, lekker eten en véél gezelligheid..

Meer dan 100.000 mensen

Wat ik ga doen, is samen met mijn moeder naar de film “Gooische Vrouwen 2”. Er zijn in 2 dagen tijd al meer dan 100.000 mensen wezen kijken en de film heeft daarom een gouden plak gekregen! Voor de mensen die de film niet kennen: het gaat over 4 dames uit het “Gooi”, die allemaal hun eigen probleempjes hebben, maar één ding gemeen: shoppen! Het is écht een gezellige en leuke film om met je moeder of met een paar vriendinnen te gaan kijken. Ik ben in ieder geval heel benieuwd, maar denk dat het weer ‘lachen met tuiten’ gaat worden… (ik laat het je wel weten)

Op de dag dat deze foto’s zijn gemaakt, was het zó ontzettend koud! Aan het einde van de shoot was mijn neus bevroren en kon ik mijn vingers niet meer bewegen… Maar het was het zeker waard!
Het grappige is dat ik aan het begin van de hele “over-the-knee-boots-trend” helemaal geen fan was van de knielaarzen. Om nog eerlijker te zijn: ik was ook geen fan van “de lange jas”… Totdat ik het aantrok. Al mijn vooroordelen waren in één klap verdwenen. Zo zie je maar, je moet eerst wat proberen voordat…

Let’s talk about today! Today it’s 5 December (“Yes.. I know that?”), if you live in the Netherlands, then you know it’s Sinterklaas… The cosy holiday for little children, with presents, surprises (family members write their names down, each person picks a name and makes a custom mystery gift for that person with a poem, it’s really fun!) , lovely food and lóts of coziness…

More than 100.000 people

What I’m going to do, is going to the cinema and watch the new movie “Gooische Vrouwen 2” with my mom. In two days, more than 100.000 people watched the movie, and because of that.. the movie has received a golden tablet! For the people who don’t know the movie: it’s about 4 ladies from “het Gooi” (chic neighbourhood, where (mostly) famous Dutch people live), who all have their own little problems, but one thing in common: they love shopping! It’s réálly a fun movie to go to with your mom or a couple of friends. I’m definitely excited and really curious, but I think it will be great fun… (I’ll let you know how it was.)

On the day these photos were made, it was incredibly cold, not normal! At the end of the shoot, my nose was frozen and I couldn’t move my fingers anymore… But it was definitely worth it!
The funny thing is that at the beginning of the whole “over-the-knee-boots-trend” I wasn’t a fan of the boots at all. To be even more honest with you: I wasn’t a fan of the “long/oversized Coat” either… Until I tried it on. All my preconceived opinions were dissappeared immediately. You see, you first have to try something before….
