Oh how I love playing with textures.

Sometimes I think it’s fun to go ton-sur-ton but with different textures not with color such as a whole leather look or denim on denim. But most of the times I ‘m combining and playing with textures. Leather with suede, knitwear with denim, hard materials with soft ones.. It’s all about letting your imagination flow, creating something unique.

When I first saw people wearing something like the headband, I thought I’d never wear that. But after trying it, I was sold. It does need some extra attention though, because you can look like a Playboy-Bunny, House-Maid… or it can be a super cool accessory like it’s in today’s look, when wearing it the right way.

I got this really cool looking cardigan jacket from Rino & Pelle. The jacket is a special one. It looks like thin fabric, but it’s actually made of super soft thin supple leather. This jacket gives the look a chic boho feeling, to funk it up a little.. I combined it with a Rayban Sunglasses. I wear it with a flowy palazzo trousers which have the pattern of light chalk stripes. The trouser feel super light they are perfect when it’s getting warm outside. The top I’m wearing is made of silk it has a lace-like feeling on top. Underwear becomes outerwear. The shoes are faux-leather when combined with palazzo trousers, they make your legs look super tall. I feel so feminine when wearing this combination. Playing with textures; A 60’s, but still very 2016 look.

Hoi meiden, als eerste wil ik zeggen dat ik heel blij ben met de enorme respons op mijn give-away van de Tommy-Hilfiger tas. Ik ben zelf nog steeds zó blij met deze tas. Hij heeft echt de perfecte afmeting, vooral als je uitgaat of de stad in gaat. Heb je nog niet meegedaan? Nou… dat kan nu nog, ga straks maar even kijken om te zien wat je moet doen, om kans te maken op deze fantastisch leuke tas van www.thebagstore.nl.

Oh ik hou ervan te spelen met texturen.

Soms is het leuk om voor ton-sur-ton te gaan wanneer we het hebben over playing with textures, want als we het hebben over de kleuren is het een ander verhaal; een compleet leren look of denim op denim. Maar meestal speel ik met verschillende texturen. Leer met suède, gebreide stoffen met denim, harde materialen met zachte.. Je kunt je fantasie de vrije loop laten gaan en zo een unieke  look creëren.

De haarband is iets, waarvan ik dacht dat ik het nooit zou dragen toen ik het mensen voor het eerst zag dragen. Maar… toen ik het zelf op deed was ik verkocht. Je moet wel even goed kijken hoe je het draagt, want je kunt eruit zien als een Playboy Bunny of schoonmaakster. Als de flapjes net een andere kant op staan kan dat… maar het kan ook een super coole accessoire zijn, zoals je kan zien in de look van vandaag.

De look bestaat dus uit een soepele palazzo broek, die een patroon heeft van lichte krijtstrepen. Het voelt super licht aan en is perfect wanneer het buiten warm begint te worden. De top die ik draag, is gemaakt van zijde en heeft een kanten randje bovenaan.  Ondergoed wordt bovengoed.  De schoenen zijn van imitatieleer, wanneer gecombineerd met een palazzobroek maken ze je benen méga lang. Dan het jas/vest, die is heel speciaal. Het ziet eruit als een zachte stof, maar is eigenlijk gemaakt van super zacht écht leer. Het jasje geeft de look een chique bohemian-gevoel. Verder heb ik als laatste (maar niet de minste) gekozen voor een Rayban zonnebril om de look compleet te maken. Playing with textures: een 60’s maar toch ook super 2016 look.
