Greece.. I absolutely love the country. The Greek people, the Greek sea, the Greek sun, the Greek food… What’s not to love about. My parents made me fall in love with it. They’ve been to Greece for so many times… and thanks to them, so did I 🙂 The only thing is.. Santorini is still on my wishlist, and so is Mykonos.
Those are the two places, where you actually see those typical Greek houses and places; with the blue and the white, where the sea is clearer than your mirror and where every thing looks picture perfect.
It’s been a while since I’ve wrote about luxury travel, so I figured: let’s do another post!
I’m already in the holiday mood, so I want to help you being in it too. My niece was on a holiday in Corfu [remember my vlogs and blogs about it? I remember being super shaky when I vlogged for the first time, standing at the airport.. LOL] and shared all her lovely pics with me. Which made me long for Greece again.
Today is about the Katikies hotel, which I found out about, in Santorini, Greece. It’s nestled in the Santorini mountainside, along the thoroughfare of central Oia. This hotel is a luxury boutique hotel, which has been one of the hottest places to vacation in the village. Its décor is mixed with the preserved Aegean architecture, which gives visitors of the hotel in Santorini the best of both worlds.
The rooms are stark-white, with furnishings in the suites mix local antiques, many of the esuits have jaccuzzi tubs, huge living rooms and even dining rooms for entertaining small parties.
It may cost something, but hey. You want to be on a luxurious vacation in Santorini or not. In the Summer period you easily pay about 1100 euros a night, in the less-popular and warm periods, you pay about 399 euros per night.

OMG Santorini is at the top of my,bucket place. Cannot wait to have the opportunity to go. It looks like one of the most beautiful sites in the world.

Santorini is one of my dream locations, but I guess Greece in general would be too. It’s so beautiful in these photos, and it would definitely be a luxurious vacation if I ever visit one day!

I love Santorini! and I can’t wait to go back, it is such a beautiful and romantic Island. This hotel look so fabulous, I only wish I discovered when I was there. But I will stay for sure next time I visit. This hotel is a gem!!!

Greece is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. I really want to go there now. It’s soo crisp, white and blue there. OMG. It’s sooo worth the thousand euros. Maybe someday. I’ll keep it on my list of places to visit!!
It looks like a dream! I would love to go to Santorini. Greece has so many to offer, too bad people don’t know for other places rather than just Santorini or Mykonos, either way it’s stunning!
Oh my goodness, these photos of Santorini and that hotel is making me want to fly to Greece like right now!! It looks heavenly there. I really could use a relaxing getaway – if only I had the funds to do it in luxury 😀

I’m planning to visit Santorini soon, as I live very near. And I was searching for a hotel, so this post is so on point. Hotel looks amazing and so unique. I like the pool area and the view. Santorini looks like heaven by itself and even better from the windows of this hotel.

I haven’t been to Santorini, YET that is. I’ve actually booked a vacation to both Santorini and Mykonos in September as I, just like you, want to see the beautiful white houses and the blue sea and let’s face it. It’s not a long flight for either of us and I want to get as much out of my vacation as possible, so that’s why I chose Greece over for example Bali which is a 20 hour flight away. 🙂 I’m looking forward to my visit so much and your post made me even more excited!
