♥ Have some fun over the weekend and survive monday
Yes I can survive Monday ! 💪 And you can do it too!
After a long both fun and relaxing weekend, full of partying ánd pampering, it’s seems unbearable to get back to work…. Cause it’s Monday! Instagram is probably loaded with pictures of depressed people by now,
saying “Can I get the weekend back?”#ThrowBackTime
But let’s change that mindset and start by saying:
“ YES I CAN SURVIVE MONDAY ”.
Cause you can. I’ll tell you how.
First of all, have some fun over the weekend and do as much of the things you want.
Waking up early is also a great way to start the day. It seems ridiculous, because.. your weekend is already over and now you have to wake-up early too? Yes! Do the things that can be done right now, so that you don’t have to do them when you get home.
For example: put your dirty clothes in the wash machine, put things straight in your room –maybe even clean it quickly-, or… sip your cup of healthy hot chocolate, or tea, and watch a few minutes of your favorite series. You’ll be more relaxed during the day, if you know you don’t have to do all these things when you get home.
And.. Before I forget, have yourself a good breakfast. Breakfast is thé meal to start your day with and which gives you energy. Even if it’s something small, everything counts.
What also helps me, is making a list on the night before. Before you go to bed, make a to-do list. When you wake-up (early), put your clothes on and had breakfast, start doing the easiest and quickest things first. You can scrap those of your list, which gives you a clear mind.
Reward yourself! After a long and intensive day, you can be proud of yourself. Decide to reward yourself with a trip to the movie-theatre or dinner with your friends. This way you’ll have something to look forward too.
Only do the most important. Some things can wait until Tuesday. Instead of trying to do a bunch of things on one day, spread them over two days –or more- This way your Monday doesn’t feel so overwhelming, which is way better to start your week with.

Last but not least… Just do it. Sometimes, you just have to get through it. Don’t try to do too much on one day and get much accomplished.
Also take your breaks to recover from your busy weekend, because there’s always a Tuesday 😉
