College has started again, so Summer has ended.
Atleast, the holiday has.
I always like to capture things, so that I can look at the pictures again another time.
Let’s do that today !
Now college has started, I almost have the feeling that I only had a one-week-holiday. But I didn’t!
I went to Corfu and I’ve seen a lot of great places and met nice people. It was the first time that I vlogged in public and although I don’t know if I’ll do it again – I think I like making video’s at home more- it did feel kick ass that I did it!
I just really did not like to think about the moment that I’d have to vlog at the super big Airport “Schiphol”. Why? I don’t know… The fact that people might stare and think about “what is she doing”. But you know what? I also had this anger in me, that said “stop thinking about the others. Just do it.” And I did.
This holiday I learned, that you sometimes just have to step over your own boundaries and just do things. Even if they scare you. And the second time I vlogged, I already felt more comfortable.
There was this Greek evening, I believe it was the … second or third night in Corfu. There were four dancers and one of them reminded me of a Dutch “celeb” called Jim Bakkum (the video of them dancing, is on my youtube channel). The funny thing was, that this Greek Jim really wanted me to dance with him. But the situation was a bit awkward. You’re eating in a restaurant and suddenly you have to dance with a not-so-ugly-at-all guy, so I didn’t dance with him alone. But I did dance with the group, which still was awkward for everybody haha, though also fun.
Oh my, do you remember the time that I wrote about the scary dog? Really, I thought my heart stopped when a huge dog with big scary eyes stared at me on my balcony. The times that I did like an animal on my balcony, were the times that our greek cat Gracie stopped by. Eventually we found out, that she didn’t only visit us… but also all the other people at the complex. Alduterous kitty she was.
Back in the Netherlands, it was also nice. There were some pretty sunny days, so I was able to wear my bikini’s quite often 🙂
Confession: I’ve never had so many new bikini’s in one year. I think I’ve got 4 or 5 this Summer 2015.
One I didn’t even show you yet, it’s one from Lingadore. You know, from the pyjama’s to the beach. I loved reading your thoughts about wearing pyjama’s to the beach, so funny how everybody thinks differently about it.
The rest of the holiday was all about having a nice time with my friends, reading all my favorite food, watching way too many series and blogging my ass off.
What is the coolest thing you’ve done in your Summer 2015 holiday?
