Funny how streetstyle can be (almost) as important as the shows itself.
Because nowadays, fashion influencers and bloggers are an inspiration to their followers and even to the designers. They mix and match, combine multiple pieces from their favorite designers and voila: a new trend is born.
Fashionweek is all about seeing and being seen. It’s about putting on your most fabulous, eye-catchy or striking outfits and rocking the streets as your own runway. Before you know it you get photographed by Vogue and published on their streetstyle-page.
Once the photographers actually know you, they might be willing to help you. [how to look good in pictures always]
… Do you remember the time when a guy did a little experience in New York? He hired some photographers, friends as bodyguards, walked around with air and some huge shades on. Everybody thought he was a celeb.. and after the experiment, he was.
Once you get photographed by tons of photographers, you might just walk yourself into the Chanel show. You never know…
So now, what they wear this year? What will we see, what do we like and what will we wear? Let’s take a look.
Puffer coats, pops of red and lots of fluff! Do you remember my puffer coat? Wear it off shoulder like the girl with the black&red puffer and you’ll be the star.

Flowy florals, embroidered flares, wedged Gucci sneakers and buckled belts. We love it!
Denim on denim, woolen black and white coats and statement jackets. Blocked heels, netpanties… All trends we’ve heard of and will keep hearing of probably.

I love the puffer coat trend! Plus it’s so cold in NY that I probably wouldn’t leave the building without one. I love the denim on denim anything too. The Street style possibility is endless!!

I always get inspired by the looks I see in pics for NYFW. I can only imagine how insane it is to actually see them in person. They pull off looks I don’t think I would have ever selected myself. They always work though. I want to go one day soon!
