Last days, or actually weeks, have been super busy! Business meetings and sponsorship’s for Fashion Week, Fashion Week itself (it was lovely talking to you guys, don’t be shy and come say “hi” when you see me!). In case you’re wondering: I didn’t have one single moment I stood still ever since.

The meetings go on and on, which makes me extremely happy, because it means: new content, giveaways and other fun stuff. Also… This Sunday I was invited for two super cool events and I celebrated a dear friend’s Birthday with a nice Birthday-Dinner!

When you go to a business meeting, your appearance and business bag are super important. It definitely helps the person you’re talking to, deciding whether to collaborate… or not. Whether you have a #no-make-up-day, “I don’t wash my hair for a year”-day or “I didn’t know what to wear”-day, if the bag your caring looks good: your great first impression is made.

I got my bag (briefcase) from Van Soest Goudleer, which is a company by Sebastiaan van Soest. Everything fits in this bag; my laptop, mobile phone, notebook, papers, business cards and the usual stuff you take with you.

The company is the second generation, who likes to make the ancient craft of gold leather alive again. His mission is to breathe new life into gold leather and giving it a modern application and appearance. The first Gold Leather Factory in the northern Netherlands was founded in 1612.

Gold leather in the Netherlands is known for its strong relief. Where in Spain and France they mostly used sheep’s and goat’s leather, they worked with beautiful smooth calf’s leather in the Netherlands. The gold leather was used as wall covering, but was also applied to chairs, furniture and suitcases. You can find Gold Leather in palaces, castles and governmental buildings. Almost feeling like a royalty now 😉 with this beautiful business bag .
