♥Comma, the girl on the train. Wondering, dreaming and admiring.
Talking about photogenic places and special someones.♥
Hopping on and off the train. The past few years this has been something I do very often. I’m the girl running very fast, trying to catch her train. I’m the one who’s spending way too much money on sanitary/toilets, because I don’t want to use the toilet on the train.. And I’m the one who’s wondering, dreaming and admiring others.
Do you ever wonder who’s sitting behind you? Next to you? Three rows before you? Everyone has their own story and I always wonder which one is theirs. When I hear people talking in their own language, I want to know what they say. When I look out of the window I wonder…
what about meeting new people? I’ve met quite a few people, sitting next to them and just starting a random conversation.
It might feel weird or scary at first, but to be honest.. I hate to be the “silent” passenger, just sitting next to someone, earplugs in and saying nothing. (OK, sometimes I also like to do that, I admit). It’s much more fun, spending your time and meeting someone new. Who knows.. you might talk to that special someone…
Also, how photogenic are train stations? You might not always notice, because you’re too stressed out, trying to catch your train. Or busy on your phone. Today’s editorial for Comma, have been shot at Rotterdam Central Station. Never knew also the inside could be this photogenic. There are a lot of places like this, for example the one in Antwerp: GORGEOUS. So if you’re looking for new places to shoot: try a train station at/near your place. You might get surprised by its beauty.
And if a train doesn’t stop
at your station, then
It wasn’t your train
Has a work of art ever fascinated you so much, that you couldn’t tear yourself away?

Great photos babe! I love your mentality too. I too think that it’s a great idea to meet new people and see what’s out there 🙂
Cheers!
I wish we had a decent looking train station here for photos, but we don’t. Ours is run down and honestly too scary to spend more than a minute at. It’s so dangerous! Love your look as always 🙂

That’s such a cute blouse! I love that pop of color and the mix in prints. Also, I love the idea of starting a conversation with a stranger on the train but perhaps not in my neck of the woods. I’ve sat next to too many crazy people on the subway to do that haha!

I think you have a nice character how you want to talk with others and know more about everything. Intelligence is curious.
Nice how you shooting there, and the Comma top is lovely colorful .
Sending love from Italy

Silence is actually why I don’t like riding the subway in New York; no one talks! I’m such an outgoing person and I just don’t get how some people can just live in silence and be expressionless. Good to know I’m not the only one! I need that blouse in my life too. It has just the right amount of orange 🙂

I can definitely see why you like this top and brand so much! It’s sophisticated and feminine but not over the top so you can wear it to different settings. Love these photos!
Yes! The European train stations are just so photogenic. The one in Porto in Portugal was my favourite I think, or one of them at least. The upper deck was just stunning. I don’t often catch transport here, just on the odd occasion, but I don’t speak to anyone. It’s not something I think much about, but probably should. You never know.

girl you are rocking this look! love the casual vibes and the location is so cool!

Aw thanks babe, so glad to hear that! XO
haha you’re welcome 😉
Thanks babe, you too! X
Hahaha really?! Oh Thomas, I do hope so <3 XO
I love your writing style, it is so eloquent and poetic. Sadly we drive everywhere here in LA, even to the drug store or grocery store down the street. But when I lived in Shanghai, I took the subway a lot and everyone is so busy keeping to themselves on their phone to be talking to each other. Love this beautiful blouse and you are too cute posing in the train station. My favorite station is Grand Central.

You know what’s funny? I live in the city and I never considered shooting at a train station. Great Pointer! Loved your post and style. xoxo
I love this artsy top on you! the print is just fabulous and also all the details that you have highlighted in the post. I really think the colors are beautiful for spring. You look so wonderful in all the shots!!
Happy weekend, sweetie!!!

I’m that weird and annoying guy on the train who talks to everyone, haha. Hopefully we’ll meet in a train sometime so we won’t scare everyone else off!! I also love shooting at train stations. There’s such an ambience and they truly are photogenic, as is this Comma blouse! 🙂

Also, I’ve rode a train only once or twice. It was the most peaceful ride I’ve ever taken. I can’t wait to ride on one again!
I’m digging that blouse!
