♦ No coffee for me but tea Detox Emotional Tea, partly because I don’t like coffee at all. Partly because I’m allergic to caffeine. I also don’t like really sweet drinks. What I do drink very often? Tea. I drink lots of tea, different kinds and flavours. Today is about a kind that I, accidentally, discovered at the dutch drugstore called “Etos”. Not really a place where you’d expect to find tea. Really there: a whole row with different tea boxes.
I’ve chosen for: “Emotional Detox feel free”.

What’s says the Detox Emotional Tea pack :

This detox tea is from the brand “Shotimaa”, meaning “little mother”. It’s composed on the base of ancient traditions (the elements of life: earth, water, fire , air). By the so called “master blenders” and healers with a balanced kind of tea as result. It’s an “organic fusion” so it only contains pure ingredients.

 The ingredients (which are all organic) :

Hibiscus(33%), liquorice(24%), peppermint(14%), basil, blackberry leaf, ginger, nettle, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon , cloves.

Op het pakje detox emotional thee staat:
De thee is van het merk “Shotimaa”, dit betekent kleine moeder. Op basis van oude gewoonten (de elementen van het leven: aarde, water, vuur en lucht) samengesteld door zogenaamde “meesterblenders” en healers.
Het is een “organic fusion” dus er zitten alleen maar pure ingrediënten in.

De ingrediënten (biologisch ) :

Hibiscus(33%), Zoethout (24%), Pepermunt(14%), basilicum, braamblad, gember, brandnetel, zwarte peper, kardamom, kaneel en kruidnagel.

How does it look:
When I put the little teabag in my cup, I was surprised by the smell and colour. The colour is bright pink/red (which you don’t expect when you read the ingredients). The best you could do is to let the teabag brew for a couple of minutes. Not for tóó long, because the flavor will be too strong.

How does it smell:
The smell is “herbally”, but also fruity

How does it taste:
Really good! A completely different flavor I’m used to drink, but I’m really positive about it. Yummie…

Detox Emotional Tea , yes or no?
Well… you really do relax because of this tea , that’s not the case with all tea’s. You really get to queue up your thoughts.
Of-course this can be “just” an illusion, but it definitely works for me.

Also a bit of a trivia: on the tag of the teabag is a different saying each time:

It depends on in which store you buy the tea box, but the price is about €2,79 for one box.

Just as excited as I am to try out this Emotional Detox tea?

Hoe ziet het eruit:
Toen ik het theezakje in mijn kopje deed was ik verrast door de geur en kleur. De kleur is fel roze/rood(wat je niet verwacht als je de ingrediënten leest).
Je kunt de thee het beste een paar minuutjes laten trekken, maar niet té lang, dan wordt de smaak te sterk.

Hoe ruikt het:
De geur is lekker kruidig, maar ook fruitig.

Hoe smaakt het:
Heel lekker! Een totaal ander smaakje dan ik gewend ben te drinken, maar ik ben zeer positief. Jummie…

Emotional detox ja of nee?
Nou… je ontspant wel echt door deze thee en dat is niet met alle theesoorten zo. Je krijgt je gedachten echt wat beter op een rijtje.
Natuurlijk kan dit een illusie zijn, maar voor mij werkt het in ieder geval.

Ook nog een leuk weetje: op de kaartjes aan de zakjes staat elke keer een verschillende spreuk.
