Lisa Konno , Amsterdam Fashion Week – Silky Spice
Up-tempo girly music and a gorgeous collection made of Versace-like scarfs. Lisa Konno did a great job on this Fall/Winter 2016 collection! With Yours Truly, Lisa wants her audience to think about the clothes they wear and how they’re crafted.

In January 2015, Lisa Konno made her Amsterdam Fashion Week debut with her For the workers collection. Pictures of the Bangladesh factory disaster, were digitally printed on the garments in an abstract way. Lisa never wants to lose the optimistic, fun and ever changing look that fashion can bring, but shake off the unethical ways of the industry.

She often uses textile waste as the main inspiration source. Her work is always layered, having a fashionable and aesthetic surface with an underlying base of criticism.

Pointed boyfriend-shoes, fairly natural make-up and Black and White man-like blouses and trousers, with a girly touch of second-hand silk. That’s what this collection was all about. A very refreshing collection, with a silky spice, in all ways and colors. A pleasure to watch!
