Ascension Day in the Netherlands

Ascension Day in the Netherlands marks the time when Jesus ascended to heaven for the final time following his crucifixion and resurrection. It is the 50th day after Easter and is always on a Thursday. Ascension Day is legally considered to be equil to a Sunday and many people do not have to work.
Post offices, banks and many businesses and stores are closed.
Almost everybody in the Netherlands had a day off, which is always a nice thing. People were enjoying their free day off, sitting in their gardens or having a cup of coffee or drink at a terrace.

Pack my weekend Pauls boutique bag

Today started  by doing my exercises for my arms, legs and abs. It always gives me great energy and a lot of muscular pain, hahah. But I love the results 🙂 Later today I’m going to pack my weekend Pauls boutique bag -the one you see on the pictures- because I’m spending this weekend in Amsterdam,
can’t wait! The bag is ideal for my weekend off to Amsterdam. I’ll tell you all about my days spend  in Amsterdam in my next post this Tuesday!
