♥ Beautiful summer ready feet and calluses do not go well together.
Summer ready feet
We have recently been enjoying very warm, even tropical, temperatures. But you’ll start thinking: do I actually have summer ready feet ? After months of walking on closed shoes you want your feet “out” during the summer into slippers and sandals. This is a good reason to give your feet a nice treat. Follow my tips and your feet will be Summer ready.
Step 1:
The first thing you’ll have to do to get summer ready feet, is to remove calluses from your heels. Calluses quickly make a not so good impression. So remove the calluses from your heels, the ball of your foot and your big toe. Beautiful feet and calluses do not go well together.
You can remove this well with a foot file.
Summer ready feet Step 2:
To keep your feet from drying out, you’ll put on a nourishing foot cream. It will moisturize your feet and avoid further callus formation. The result is beautiful; soft feet with a neat appearance.
Use for example: Ultra Rich Foot Cream from L’Occitane or foot cream from Etos
Summer ready feet Step 3:
Are your feet a bit rough? Then it’s time to use a scrub especially for the feet. Dead skin-cells will disappear with a nice scrub and look and feel amazingly soft. Give your feet a extra treat by giving them a nice and relaxing foot bath. You and your feet will enjoy it. It also stimulates the blood flow if you give them a cold bath after. Be brave!
Summer ready feet Step 4:
Neatly clipped nails are a must. It is best to cut your nails not at once, but every time a small piece. In this way, the chance is smallest of tearing your nails. To do this, use a pair of nail scissors or a nail Clipper.
Summer ready feet Step 5:
To give your clean and manicured feet a radiant and finishing touch, put a nice nail polish on your toe-nails. Pop tones are doing great on the nails. Enjoy a range of summery shades!
Use for example: Oriflame Nailpolish
