Do you always spend too much money on your fashion clothes? Don’t you know whether you should buy the bag you’ve always dreamed of? I’ll tell you what to do… Today I’ll be sharing my seven secrets to become a well-dressed fashion woman
My Secrets Fashion 1: I always approach fashion shopping with a plan in mind. This way it’s more effective and you’ll be spending less money
My Secrets Fashion 2: Look in your closet first to determine what’s missing.
My Secrets Fashion 3: Plan your wardrobe each season, by assessing what you already have in your closet and add a few new/ or missing pieces to complete your fashion collection. Buy the jacket that you’ve always wanted, YES, even when its more expensive! Keep in mind that you’ll wear the jacket several days each week–with a pair of trousers, over a dress and to both daytime ánd evening events. So it has to be good!
The French fashion designer Anne Fontaine, known for her white shirts, said:
“Besides a beautiful blouse, every woman should have a great pair of jeans, black pants, a perfect skirt, a perfect little black dress and a jacket for each season.”
This small collection of basics is a well-balanced jumping off point–by adding a few accessories, your outfit possibilities are endless.
The little black dress a great fashion item for example: add some jewellery, a clutch and heels to make it super classy, or wear it with a jacket, hat and black leather backpack to look more edgy; your perfect little black dress will look completely different each time
My Secrets Fashion4: Don’t buy clothes or accessories because you want to follow the trends. Try to think of:
>How many times can and will I wear it?
>Can I wear it at all sorts of events?
>Is it wearable from work, to dinner, to party?
>And… will I wear it again?
My Secrets Fashion 5: Building a high-quality wardrobe, requires: spending more on less (more quality, less quantity) and investing in great accessories. You might think that the gorgeous bag you love só much is too expensive, but when you think of how many times you’re going to look great with it (and how long), it’s actually not that expensive anymore.
My Secrets Fashion 6: Be loyal to the styles and colours that look best on you. Every collection will have at least one piece that you’ll like, but it’s about what feels right and looks good on you. Most of all: your outfit has to look effortless.

Oeh, yes that’s also a tricky one! Buying because it’s cheaper… Keep your collection in mind and make a little list of the things that you REALLY need/want and go looking for those specific items so that you won’t end up buying things you didn’t really need 🙂 X

These are GREAT tips.. my big flop is that I NEVER have a plan in mind while shopping.. it’s all about impulse, so then I end up with a thousand cardigans (I love me my cardigans) and nothing else! lol!! Great post!
